2019, “The Year of the Awe of God”

On Sunday 12/30/18 @ 8:36 AM, I had just finished praying and felt the Lord lead me to Luke 5:1-11 with verse 8 as the Key Verse.

“When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.” For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.” Luke 5:8-9 (NLT)

I was seeking direction personally, for my family, for ministry and all things that compose each of these areas of my life. I believe this is what the Lord is saying to us in 2019.

The Lord is going to bless us so much with a harvest of souls and substance that it is going to lead us to personal places of repentance. In past times some have taken the blessings of the Lord as though He approves of their lifestyles and has overlooked their secret sins. In this season says the Lord, “My blessings will lead you to repentance.” We will be in such awe at the work of His hand, through our obedience. In the awe we will lay down everything, jump into the deep and follow Him solely.

Father help us to live our lives through an abundance of the Awe of You.
